How to Put Yourself in a Video with a Photo

Learn how BeTheClip works: preview a scene, upload and check your photo, confirm the credits, then generate and download your personal video.

Choose and preview the scene

Start with Desktop Sneeze, the currently available template. Watch the original scene before choosing it. BeTheClip provides the source video; you upload a reference photo.

Upload your photo and check it

Choose a clear photo of one person, with the head, shoulders, and upper arms visible. You can upload and request the photo check before signing in. The check assesses suitability for this scene and may identify issues that affect the result.

Review the cost and confirm

Sign in to generate, review the displayed credit cost and balance, and confirm that you have permission to use the photo. If the check reports a warning, review the risk before continuing. Generation is available only when pricing, the service, and sufficient credits are available.

Follow the generation and save your video

You can leave the page while generation continues and return through My videos. Once the result is ready, review it and download it from your account before its displayed expiry date. Check the video’s library status before relying on it for later playback.

What changes in the scene?

Character replacement uses your photo to change the person’s appearance, hairstyle, and outfit while following the template’s motion. It changes more than the face alone. The result may vary, especially around hands and contact with objects; photo approval does not guarantee a particular result.
