How your account, photos and videos are processed, stored and handled when you ask for help.

Information used by the service

BeTheClip processes your email address, password hash, session information, uploaded photos, photo-check results, generated videos and job records. If order or credit records exist, they are also associated with your account. Support messages include the information you choose to send.

Photo checks and AI generation

Checking a photo sends it to Alibaba Cloud AI services in China to assess its suitability for the selected template. Confirming generation sends your photo and the template video to the AI service to create your clip. Only upload photos you have permission to use and process.

Your private video library

Generated videos are stored in your private library using Cloudflare R2. The service checks your account, ownership and file expiry before allowing access. Temporary application-server copies may also be used while processing and storing a video.

File expiry and data requests

Photo and video availability periods are set by the service administrator and shown for each file. Photos needed by ongoing or unresolved generation tasks may be kept longer. File deletion and expiry do not automatically erase account, order or security records. AI and storage providers have separate processing and retention obligations.

Account and support email

When account email delivery is enabled, Postmark receives your email address and the verification or password-reset message for delivery. Messages to our support address are forwarded to our support mailbox using Google email services. Do not send passwords or account-recovery links.

Cookies and browser storage

The application uses a session cookie and browser storage to maintain your account or guest draft, remember your language and avoid duplicate generation or checkout requests. The current site does not use analytics tools.

Requesting access, correction or deletion

Email [email protected] to ask about your data or request account or data deletion. Requests are reviewed manually, and we may need to verify the account or clarify the request. This is not an instant self-service deletion feature; any records that must be retained need separate review.
